Cloud Server Hosting

The RackWire.com Cloud is powered by a Xen hypervisor running on Dell Server Hardware and Cisco Gigabit Networking Equipment all in a N+1 Architecture in our SAS70 Type II Certified Data Center. The Cloud platform supports multiple Operating System versions of 32-bit and 64-bit Windows and Linux virtual machines to be hosted simultaneously. VMs have their own root accounts which can be controlled, configured and managed by you, the customer.

Cloud Control Panel

You can build, start, stop, backup or delete cloud servers directly from the control panel. You can schedule and review nightly backups. The Control Panel has interactive CPU and bandwidth graphs for each virtual machine so you know and control how your servers are performing.

Cloud Architecture

The RackWire.com Cloud Platform monitors the status of servers in the cloud, and features an automatic failover process if a server becomes unavailable. The automatic failover is initiated in 15 seconds if it receives no heartbeat response from a server, and the virtual machines it hosts are automatically migrated to another suitable server in the cloud farm.
